Thank you for making Mrs. Najah’s Kitchen the winner of the GlobalGiving’s World Refugee Bonus Campaign on June 20th, 2022. You’ll be happy to know that after winning the competition, Mrs. Najah’s Kitchen was able to resume preparing hot meals for Gaza families throughout September and into October. In that time, Mrs. Najah’s superstar, all-women team delivered delicious, home-cooked meals to over 3,500 families in and around Rafah!

Because of your support, this project is making a tremendous impact on underprivileged families in Gaza, who often lack the means and income to afford quality ingredients like the ones Mrs. Najah uses to create her amazing and nutritious meals. Mrs. Najah and her team specifically seek out these families to help ensure that they can have access to good food.

Besides just making these meals, Mrs. Najah’s team also goes through tremendous effort to deliver them, particularly focusing on families who live in areas that are not easily accessible, or are otherwise unable to reach the Women’s Program Center that the team operates out of. The team is capable of delivering meals to hundreds of families in the area, helping a huge portion of the community access healthy, delicious meals.

In addition, this project also benefits Mrs. Najah’s team, who are able to gain an income from their work on this project, helping them to provide for themselves and their families. Mrs. Najah’s Kitchen has a positive impact on every aspect of the community, from the families it serves to the women who work hard to make and deliver these incredible hot meals.

With your continued support, the Kitchen can remain operational and bring meals, nutrition, and smiles to families in need.
