I am a retired industrial engineer, originally from India. I moved to the US in 1975 when I earned my engineering degree from San Jose University and my family and I have lived here ever since. I have been working with Rebuilding Alliance’s volunteer team since 2015.

I came to know Rebulding Alliance through Imam Mounir  (Abu Monzer) and volunteered to guide and connect RA especially with the Muslim community.  I help my community to learn about RA’s mission and our work, and also to learn about and participate in our advocacy.

It is so important to help the Palestinian people and as constituents, it is important for our community, here in the Bay Area to learn how to bring issues of concern to Congress. I’m also happy to help the RA team understand the Muslim community, and for me personally, I am honored to learn about the other faith and advocacy groups that also support RA’s work.

Advocacy and outreach are important ways to help RA achieve our goals.
